We tried having a club with no rules. That didn't work.
So now we have every rule. That way, every member has to be in breach of at least some of them. That appeals to their outlaw egos and means no one member is in any position to judge the others.
So this is a small selection from the OLC Rule Book (as featured in the novel Lady Caine). The complete rule book hasn't yet been written (see OLC Rule 601), and probably never can be.

| 199 | Airplanes want to be free | All airplanes belong to all pilots. If you don't keep it, it ain't stealing. |
| 249 | You gotta have a reason | Everyone must be doing something. |
| 405 | Be sure of position | Always be somewhere. |
| 416 | Don't let the bastards hear you coming | Always approach from downwind. Shut down the engine as soon as possible - preferably before landing. Never use your real name on forms. |
| 601 | Never let up | The job is never finished. Keep running. |
| 666 | Watch your six | Never trust anyone. Beware of Feds, fascists, fans and following cars. |
| 932 | Don't come down | Always maintain height until the last possible moment - you never know when you're going to take ground-fire. |
| 999 | Use extreme prejudice | Never believe what you read. Suspect everyone. FARs are for wimps. |
